Carolinas Championship

Last year’s event at Cherry Park in Rock Hill resulted in two champions from the Palmetto State.  The Spartanburg Phillies won the 13-U bracket and the Carolina Astros won the 14-U bracket.  Both qualified for the 2007 National Championship event and were also awarded 400 points for the championship.

The 2007 event will be held in Concord and we have received interest from Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee for participation in the championship.  This would be a great addition to the event and certainly raise the level of competition.

We will update you on the format as we progress through the season.

The criteria will remain based on the highest “points” total accumulated during the 2007 season.  In addition to this fantastic level of competition, we will offer the following:

  • The top two teams from each age division will qualify for the 2008 National Championships.
