The annual AAU Convention was cancelled in 2001 in response to the tragic events in America on September 11. The following awards were to be presented at the Annual Convention. Special Achievement: Jim Lisk, South Carolina. Membership Level Awards: Bronze to South Carolina. Growth Awards: South Carolina. Congratulations to Jim and Betty and to all the coaches, players, parents and supporters of AAU baseball here in SC that made it all possible!

All participants in the National Championships and National Invitational Championships qualified by participating in State Championships held in Columbia, Greer, and Myrtle Beach. All teams represented our state well at the nationals and achieved our highest level of success to date in the program.
